I'm sorry, we're the names of the electors on your ballot?

I didn't vote for this chucklefrick to pick for me. If I had gotten that option, I would not have taken it.

You don't get to change the rules after the game ends. There were no electors names, we had no choice, it was Hillary Clinton or trump. Were there electors who were pledged to Bernie?

seen a few blog sites where Texans are stewing that there vote won't be represented because of Suprun. As some had stated, he knew Trump was a lock early for the nomination. If he felt that much disgust then he should have withdrawn.

On a curiosity level--

Why even have people If they can't use their judgement?

I get primaries varying but why wouldn't policy be standardized nationally for a federal election?

In its own way, isn't this more accurately reflecting the electorate than 100% going to person?

Thats not "states rights". One (1) individual overturning the votes of the state cannot be an example of states rights.
In some states this is allowed. In some states it is not.

States' rights.

The electoral college exists to prevent the howling mob from taking control of the country. Let's hope it works as designed.

I saw an article recently that said thirty states have laws binding the electors to their pledged votes. Twenty, obviously do not.

So it could still be a mess.

What we are being prepped for is that neither Trump nor Clinton get a majority in the EC for whatever reason. At that point I wouldn't put it past the House to elect Clinton. Seriously, she is much more aligned with the establishment uni-party that has been in power for a while now.

The Rethugs selling out to the uni-party and abandoning its very gullible base, is how Trump won the nomination.

We saw how Ryan and others acted to Trump's candidacy.

I have been crying wolf for so long I have to be right some day.

Clinton could still get into the White House.

Why do you think every police department in the country now has armored vehicles?

Grown men on this site have an emotional attachment to their candidate and to the one he beat in November and can't fathom that I don't have such an attachment to any candidate. Their emotional MO in political dialogue is identical to that of SJW PMS chicks who begin every point with "Umm no, just no." They are triggered by my avi and assume that, since they cannot be unemotional when talking about politics, I must be like them.

The possibility of a grown man mentioning that Trump's pre-Presidential political/governmental resume is the sparsest of all time is doing so unemotionally and factually doesn't occur to them because of how emotionally consumed they are with politics and how hard it is for them to coexist decently with people who do not agree with them 100%. They are snowflakes who live in a bubble.

In other words, they live melt. So I say melt.
