This is quite interesting. I don’t have a county map that overlaps gun laws, but I’m assuming they are roughly the same.

Breaking news: Urban areas have more murders than rural areas.

Thanks.

Interesting map but I assume it is more to do with population density rather than political affiliation.

I had a good friend in New York City. He never used to call me by my name, just Hillbilly. My grandfather taught me how to live off the land. His taught him to be a business man. He was stabbed by a man with a switch blade knife, for 43 dollars my friend lost his life.

Uhhhh... more people is always going to mean more murder. Not groundbreaking news here.

Sorry to hear about your friend. I’d like to spit some beech nut in that dude’s eyes and shoot him with my ole .45.

This is per Capita. The question is, if this is such a major issue, why the frick would you continue to elect the same people over and over and over and over that do nothing to prevent deaths? These areas also happen to have the stircktest gun laws in the country, so that’s clearly not working either.

While I agree this is mostly a correlation between population density and the fact that population centers vote Democrat, there are some interesting takeaways.

West Virginia is a good example. It is 94% white and has a 20% poverty rate but next to nothing for murders.

But more people doesn’t mean democratic stronghold unless it’s a certain type of lowlifes that live in this cities that vote a certain way like clockwork. .....

So liberals are committing the majority of all gun crimes and murders but yet blame conservatives. Not shocking. Liberals are used to blaming others for their own failures. It is their way.

Then increasing the number of people through immigration is tantamount to saying we are inviting more murders, no?

The more homogenous the population, the safer the area tends to be. Heavily populated areas are not homogenous. That being said, crime in heavily populated areas is almost always overwhelmingly limited to certain areas.

You can live in the middle of Atlanta, in Midtown, and never witness a violent crime. If you live in southwest Atlanta in Pittsburg, or Mechanicsville, or if you live in Bankhead or Bluff area, you're almost guaranteed to witness a number of violent crimes or murders.

Almost all of the murders in Chicago are in the southside.
