I don't like this tax either, but let's not be hypocritical when it comes to selective enforcement of the law. I bet most in this thread don't like selective enforcement of immigration laws either. Just saying.

That just means the seller isn’t registering in the state and won’t be collecting sales tax on your behalf. It’s still on the purchaser to pay use tax unless there is an exemption.

I bought about $8500 in jewelry this past year and had shipped to LA to shield against sales tax. Good luck collecting from my out of state arse.

What I thought but JBE says you was thought wrong. Your computer is located in the State.
