Who's shocked?

quote:

Newly revealed e-mails show that former Federal Bureau Investigation (FBI) deputy director Andrew McCabe was keenly aware of CNN’s internal understanding of a secret briefing about the infamous Steele dossier, days before CNN published any stories on the matter. The e-mails, which were obtained by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.), also reveal that top officials used coded language to refer to the salacious and unverified allegations made by Steele.

Former FBI director James Comey briefed then-President-Elect Donald Trump on January 6, 2017, on at least one unproven allegation contained in Steele’s dossier, which was jointly funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee. CNN broke the story about the dossier briefing on January 10, 2017, touching off a firestorm of hysteria that culminated in not just the firing of Comey by Trump, but the eventual appointment of Department of Justice (DOJ) special counsel Robert Mueller.

Comey claimed that he was compelled to brief Trump on the dossier because “CNN had [it]” and was “looking for a news hook.”

Hours before Comey briefed Trump, FBI chief of staff James Rybicki e-mailed staff that Comey “is coming into HQ briefly now for an update from the sensitive matter team.” Just as the same officials dubbed the Clinton e-mail investigation the “mid-year exam” and the anti-Trump counterintelligence investigation “Crossfire Hurricane,” they also used various phrases using “sensitive” to refer obliquely to the dossier.

Two days after the briefing, on January 8, 2017, former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe, who earlier this year was fired and then referred for criminal prosecution by the DOJ inspector general for repeatedly lying about media leaks, wrote an e-mail to top FBI officials with the subject, “Flood is coming.”

Never soon enough, but Americans' eyes are being opened to the wholesale corruption that has pervaded our government.

“CNN is close to going forward with the sensitive story,” McCabe wrote to Comey, Rybicki, and two others. “The trigger for them is they know the material was discussed in the brief and presented in an attachment.” He did not detail how he came to know what CNN’s “trigger” was for publishing the dossier briefing story.

quote:

When asked in a recent interview by Fox News Channel’s Bret Baier, Comey scoffed at the idea that the FBI would even need to investigate the leak of a secret briefing with the incoming president.

“Did you or your subordinates leak that?” Baier asked.

“No,” Comey responded. “I don’t know who leaked it.”

“Did you ever try to find out?” Baier asked.

“Who leaked an unclassified public document?” Comey said, even though Baier’s question was about leaking details of a briefing of the incoming president, not the dossier. “No,” Comey said.

Comey is, by far, the most arrogant, lying and disingenuous POS alive.

Sunlight is the best disinfectant.

Pull it all back, let the American people see what we've allowed to fester for the sake of convenience, and trust in our ability to remedy our mistakes.

How is this not proof of their leaking? Isn't that a crime?

Whne does the trial start?

At no point in that article does anyone from the FBI discuss the dossier briefing with CNN.

It is, as well as confirmation of perjury, I'd venture.

The edgy AF crowd will tell you that nothing is happening, but it would stand to reason that AG Barr's projected timeline of hearing from Durham in the spring is viable, if but for the simple fact that we're looking at the impeachment circus tent being folded up within the next 10 days (maybe dramatically sooner), and certainly by April if the witness card gets played.

The simple fact that the current indictments haven't been unsealed for optics to avoid the perception from the Americans who haven't been following the story as closely as some of us that actual justice being handed out was instead political retribution or an attempt to silence Trump's most vocal critics is absolutely a thing.

Information exclusive to the DOJ/FBI gets to CNN. CNN prepares to release story. DOJ/FBI gets word CNN is about to release information that had no business possessing, save from a leaker.

Unless someone at CNN is clairvoyant, someone at the FBI leaked info to CNN.

It's not difficult.

It is obvious the entire Obama administration and MSM are/were in on the coup.

The OP is from May 21, 2018. I realize there is so much corruption it is difficult to keep up.

What we need to know is the response from Wray regarding this...

https://www.hsgac.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/2018%2005%2021%20RHJ%20to%20FBI%20Director%20Wray%20re%20Steele%20Dossier.pdf

I imagine Wray had to provide these things by now and I am puzzled why it hasn't come out. And or if it did the problem is the media would cover by not making it a news story.

Look at the explosive Puerto Rico Story. Dem operatives hid hurricane supplies to create a quagmire talking point against Trump. Is this in the news? They all need arrested (or at least one of them other than Clinesmith) or none of the corruption goes any where.

As per another sad example: Schiff has testimony documents from IG Atkinson that he made classified. Yet for days now we have heard in the trial that Trump made things classified to obstruct. This is all insane, watching the dems accuse of what they are guilty of. If these documents Schiff is hiding were made public; there would be no current impeachment trial underway...

Something needs to break here quickly. It is like a boil that is oozing but no one seems to want to pop it. All under the guise of an 'on going investigation' of Durham.

They always use this as an excuse for exculpatory evidence as the boil oozes with pus. The boil needs popped already and the core of the boil needs cut out or it will always return.

When it is not warm & fuzzy. (If you are warm and fuzzy why make so many threads for normies trying to convince you are warm and fuzzy?)

There is nothing to be warm and fuzzy by a fire, worry-free about justice happening.

If so, post facts, but please stop with the edgy AF stuff because there is a reason to be edgy AF. No one knows what will happen or if it will happen or when...

How dare you be edgy AF. You are in big trouble now you will be admonished. How dare you! Question everything. No wait, only be comfy AF by a fire with hot chocolate or you will be verbally attacked because others know way more than you, you see.

"Trust Sessions"

Remember that one?Or the thousands of times it was said. OP posted this like it was some new info, leaving out the part that his lord and savior Sessions did nothing about this.

Maybe if people had done their job we wouldn't be having an impeachment trial right now and the Dem's wouldn't control the House.

So yes, this is old news
