This should be one of the leads on every news station tonight. Current Sec of Transportation publicly saying the former first lady, Sec of State and presidential candidate stole millions of taxpayer dollars.

But our media is bought and paid for and so it will be mentioned nowhere because people would find out she is a POS.

Hopefully, not.

Public mass transit is a massive waste of money.

(The Hill) – Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy in a memo told the Department of Transportation (DOT) to prioritize communities that have higher birth and marriage rates.

“To the maximum extent permitted by law, DOT-supported or -assisted programs and activities, including without limitation, all DOT grants, loans, contracts, and DOT-supported or -assisted State contracts, shall prioritize projects and goals that … mitigate the unique impacts of DOT programs, policies, and activities on families and family-specific difficulties, such as the accessibility of transportation to families with young children, and give preference to communities with marriage and birth rates higher than the national average,” reads the undated memo, which says it is effective immediately.

The memo could impact, among many other programs, the Federal Transit Administration’s Capital Investment Grant, meaning investments in public transportation including commuter rail, light rail and bus transit.

We'll obviously see how far these ideas go and if they really are sustained as priorities for this administration.

But Trump 2.0 is looking great thus far (and TBH we probably have JD Vance to thank for this)

Public transportation to less dense areas is a money loser. Hell...the buses around here seldom have more than 2-3 people on them as it is.

"At this point what difference does it make?" is not going to fly in this administration.
