Agree with both the "wait and see" point as well as the minority assertion. I think it's reasonable to see what comes out of the investigation, but I also think that if a heavy proportion were minority, the DOJ would definitely be involved.

Personally ... I don't care what color any/all of them were ... I'm fricken pissed that this was done to my brothers-in-arms ... and not a damn thing has been done about nor has anyone been held accountable.

The head of the VA system is testifying today. So far:

Blumenthal asks why Shinseki hasn't notified FBI of poss. criminal activity by VA records falsifiers. Shinseki hems & haws.

"I don't know what data is being assembled" for VA review.

Shinseki sez 3,000 VA workers "involuntary removed" for misconduct...but some reassigned or retired.

VA undersecretary Petzel hesitates & says "he doesn't know if it would be appropriate" to remove employees who falsify data.

When Shinseki says Deputy Chief of Staff Nabors & family are longtime friends, I wonder where the impartiality lays?

Shinseki "not aware" of book-cooking, "can't remember" getting fall 2013 OSC/OMC reports on VA ghost clinics, double-booking schemes.

Trust me, I agree. I have a loved one who is about to get out and qualifies for VA healthcare as a combat vet. I don't know if that's really a "benefit" or not.

Yes, definitely wait and see if government does the right thing. The jury is still out on that one.
And then if by some miracle the government doesn't love us and do what's in our best interests, we'll always have racism to use as an excuse.

Then we can do what we always do, fight amongst ourselves, while the habitual criminals get away with committing another crime.

Yeah, that's the ticket.

If you're so skeptical, why haven't you started the revolution already?

This is how it's always been done. Why is this suddenly surprising to you?

I see how this administration remains Squeeky Kleen™. Never investigate anything, it never happened.

However, Holder did not rule out the possibility of a Justice Department involvement with the investigation into roughly 40 deaths at a Phoenix clinic, or allegations about false record keeping at other facilities that surfaced in recent days.

“Every part of this administration, and this Department of Justice as well, takes these allegations extremely seriously,” he said. “When I say we are monitoring, that doesn’t imply inaction on our part. Monitoring is an active thing that we are doing.” Read more: LINK Follow us: @thehill on Twitter | TheHill on Facebook

What's comical is when Holder showed less inclination to file charges against Zimmerman, you drama queens started multiple threads claiming it was definite.

You were wrong.

Now you claim this means he won't in this case.

Are you such an alarmist/chicken little/drama queen IRL as you are on this board?

Equating what was done to Vets to a confrontation between two people, is beyond stupid.

Navy, consider this:
The people at the head of this organization are political appoitees.
That makes them overwhelmingly Democrat.
The Democrat leadership is overwhelmingly liberal.
Liberals have been overwhelmingly anti-war.
So it is a natural progression that these liberal administrators would show little concern for the men and women who sacrificed for these wars that the liberal elite despise.

Why do people keep using this term as if this administration has done anything any differently than the previous ones?
But not to worry, for when a Republican gets in office it will be your time to turn a blind eye.

Zimmerman has nothing to do with this.

ETA: Good to see you back, hope all is well.

And that's all it is for you, defend no matter what, simply because of political affiliation. Many have blasted policies of Bush, who lean right. Myself included. The Patriot Act is one of the worst things to ever happen to this county. Some can see beyond blind allegiance. It's a pity you cannot, and would rather your "leaders" walk away with no consequences for the crimes they commit.

You have seen through my 16,000 posts. Well done, sir.

Yes, that's exactly what I've been trying to say now for the 10 years I've posted on this board. How were you able to decipher my more than 16,000 posts? Your insight is no match for my mere mortal postings.
Tell me sir, I must know, do you in fact see through walls as well?

Holder had best get in the mix and sew this thing up before the Republicans take the Senate and a Joint Select Committee is chose to investigate this systematic MASS MURDER.

Somebody ought to find out what % of these casualties were Conservatives/Tea Party types. That would be an interesting stat.

I started a thread on this the other day, positing the idea that this will be the best opportunity (sadly so) for an all out move to restrict Government power. It ties right in to the ACA, and the potential abuse therein when the Government becomes a monopoly (single-payer) on health care.

This thing will go rogue when the children of those vets start showing up in Swift Boat ads this fall. Anybody that don't jump on board for investigation and PROSECUTION...will be toast.

And when the PROSECUTIONS (screw firing, that ain't enough for murder) start rollin in, the plea bargains and turnovers will start creeping up the hill. There had to be some form of tacit coordination; nobody would be fool enough to go out on their own and give what amounts to a death sentence to a patient. Without cover of some form.

Holder won't be able to stand up to this one.

This post is one of the most delusional I've seen on this board.

Secret waiting list = Mass murder?

People on the secret waiting list = conservative/tea party folk?

The ACA = single payer?

The swift boat thing actually is possible considering the original swift boat actually happened.
