for Drug trafficking and Weapons smuggling . Mexico has reached a crossroads….
I cannot help but wonder if the two cia agents killed in Mexico was a precursor to this action by the US ….

For the Mexican government, the era of managed stability in Sinaloa is over; Sheinbaum is now facing a direct challenge to state legitimacy and a physical security vacuum that will likely trigger a violent internal restructuring of cartel hierarchies and government control.”

U.S. Dept of Justice Indicts the Current Governor of Sinaloa, Mexico, with Drug Trafficking and Weapons Smuggling

Oh boy, this indictment puts Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum in a really precarious position.
If President Sheinbaum gives up the Governor of Sinaloa, Mexico, Ruben Rocha Moya to extradition the Sinaloa cartel will go ultra-violent against Sheinbaum and Moya will likely take down the entire government apparatus with him
[Ancillary to this, it now makes sense why all the various Mexican federal officials were publicly criticizing the Trump administration and CIA in recent days. They knew this in advance.]
The DOJ (SDNY) has indicted Mexican Governor Ruben Rocha Moya along with nine current and former Mexican officials for participating “in a corrupt and violent drug trafficking conspiracy with the Cartel to import massive amounts of fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, and methamphetamine from Mexico into the United States.

There will be blood. But allowing a criminal enterprise to dominate a nation of 130 million people -the eleventh greatest oil producer in the planet - and treat US immigration laws like their toilet - this should end.
And the crushing their illegal drug trade is step 1. They should be a nation with an economy rooted in oil, tourism, food, manufacturing.

Tough decision. Turn him over and she gets killed. Don't turn him over and she may get the Trump treatment. Bad either way. I would never run for president of Mexico. If I were her, I'd seek asylum in the U.S.

Doesn’t help her situation having CIA agents dying in country running narcotics operations.
