Seems like it could be a problem if not.
Of course.

Yes, … Anduril
This is the company owned and operated by Palmer Lucky. As mentioned previously, I've watched several interviews with him and while he couldn’t elaborate too much, what he did say was impressive.
I agree, our ability to mass produce drones is probably lacking but the technology is impressive.
I can't imagine it would take much to set up mass production capabilities. Its not building jets or tanks....

We do have the capability to down every drone in a large area at once.

There are many vids on YouTube about Palmer Luckyand his company, Anduril. Give a few a listen. I don't remember which one, but he discusses the ability to take out entire swarms of drones using directed microwave technology.

Massive LiPo battery pack(s), powerful drive motors w/ oversized props carrying video transmitters and wireless controls to transport an small ordnance round.
All parts manufactured by companies in China, and sold by AliExpress., cheap.
But Russia could have stopped most of this with the installation of wireless jamming equipment to keep these drones from being so effective, easily keeping the drones from approaching 1/2 mile horizontal and up to 10k ft vertical coverage all without active defenses. The best the Ukrainians could hope for would have been to fly over and cut power. From nearly two miles up, most would have missed their intended targets.
Russia's only excuse were the targets were so far removed from front lines, they never expected these gorilla tactics to drive trucks of the drones into the heart of Russian territory.
It is a phycological victory for them, more than anything else.

One military drone will probably cost at least one million each where a Chinese Temu equillivent can be had for $98.00.

Just gotta retool any number of idled car plants in the country for mass drone production. It would take maybe a couple weeks and we'd be cranking them bad boys out by the metric frickton.
Great can we crank out the micro-controllers, simple motors, rotors, capacitors and other simple cheap things that go into a drone. We could certainly do the firmware and software. Its the simple stuff thats going to be the problem.
Do we even mass produce the simple cheap stuff that everyone takes for granted stuff like resistors, capacitors, transistors etc. We've off shored so much who knows anymore

Yes, Trump wants increased military spending to counter the new weapons on the modern battlefield. The "true conservatives" will complain about this spending, though. They can't see anything past the word "spending," certainly not national security.
It was the same way with the border. "True conservatives" cry about there not being enough deportations, but then they cry when Trump tries to increase spending for deportations.
