With all of our focus on Ebola, Benghazi, our borders, and cops killing dogs and people, have more important issues slipped through the cracks of our society? I have always maintained that whenever something captures headlines ( Malaysia Flight ) the powers that be take full advantage by doing things that they will not have to explain later.

I'm not a major tin foil hat guy, but this seems very realistic to me and i was wondering if i am alone on this thought.

Yes.

Political parties also use distraction to manipulate the citizens. Never let a crisis go to waste.

The specifics vary, but the government (and big corporations, for that matter) - more or less work like this:

Ya got trouble

Its strange that there has not been much if any mention of the Rabbi in Jerusalem being gunned down by an Islam extremist 2 days ago. I guess its either not a big enough headline or big brother doesnt want to look like they are turning their back on Israel again. I could be reaching though.

Distraction is because of media. The dumb masses can only chew gum or walk. Can't do both at the same time.

Zach keeps up with everything except the fine arts sections of the NYT. I ditch that shite right away at Starbucks. I would take it home and shred it for cat litter. But I don't have a cat.

Divide and conquer has been an eternal military strategy.

Why not make it a societal strategy to dupe the masses?

Ever wonder why nothing really changes/

thousand years in chains
somebody said it's different now
look it's just the same
pharoahs spin the message
round and round the truth
they coulda saved a million people
how can i tell you"-John Fogerty

Yes.

The government subtly allows UFO speculation to propogate so people don't look into what they are doing with tech.
