Wrong, look at how colonial Americans dressed and the powdered wigs they wore. If you go back and look at supply requests from early British settlements in America, the most requested item was frilly collars. True story.

The fur trade in North America was driven by the need for beaver pelts to make fashionable hats. Fashion was actually a big reason this continent got settled by Europeans in the first place.

OP is busy looking for more pictures of boys in girl clothes. For research, of course.

Powdered wigs became a thing due to hair loss caused by syphilis. They then became a status symbol.

Freedom did not cause this. The speech police and the lack of freedom to speak out against the lack of morals did!!!

No, I think we, like many great nations before us, are a victim of our own success.

Tough times create strong people, strong people create good times, good times create weak people, and weak people create tough times.

We're starting that last line. It's not a freedom issue imo, it's a lack of values.

Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs

It took "alternate media" to be apprised of what was kept from us over the decades by the propaganda mills, which included regaling their target subjects only about Maslow's "Hierarchy of Needs" in the psychology classes.

Slickly making them feel well-informed, but conveniently holding back from them the "rest of the story."

That Maslow also gave the West a "concept" that was decidedly more undermining and poisonous to the stability of its society with his values clarification which basically told anyone - but particularly aimed at the easily impressed and manipulated young - to avoid accepting mores, values or advice provided to you by others.

When presented with a problem or question, make your decision according to how you feel and what seems right for you at that moment.

But then suppose we're to just accept as coincidence that Maslow just happened to be a personal friend of Herbert Marcuse - the acknowledged "Architect of the New Left" - who along with his other fellow-travelers were committed to undermining, corrupting, and eventually destroying Western Culture/Civ.

And he along with his cabal were here, settled comfortably, protected by the system, and working their destructive magic with the carte blanche access they were given to our institutions.

No. The destruction of the traditional family and rejection of Judeo-Christian principles brought on by the widespread rejection of God. The God of Abraham. That is what caused this.

Nations that reject God collapse. They are simply a notation in history. Remember this. Unity is NOT a distinguishing characteristic of the diabolical. But rather lack of unity is evidence of the presence of the demonic.

Absolute Freedom causes everything; I.e. it opens individual's imaginations to be realized IRL. Some things are societally and individually dangerous and others not so much.
