Geez guys, I seriously was just asking if a student loan forgiveness plan had to have congressional approval or no
this is just a completely pathetic response. It really amazes me how many of you liberals really act like you're the first people to invent something rhetorically. Like we haven't watched you assholes gaslighting for like two decades

Whatever dude. I'm done trying to convince you that I was simply asking a legit question.

No you weren't. it's not a legitimate question when literally 100% of the people know the answer

That question like it's billions of predecessors before it was designed to mitigate just how bad the policy is by acting like it doesn't really matter

In other words. Pretty much exactly what you liberals have done for my entire adult life while simultaneously totally planning to do the shite

I 100% think these policy plans matter and people should definitely take them into account when voting.

I assumed I knew the answer regarding congressional approval, but I had not seen it ever discussed so I asked. I know anything relating to tax increases has to have congressional approval, but I was wondering if part of their plan could happen through an EO.

That was all

I just did a quick google of the issue and Warren actually says she plans to use executive action to push her student debt plan through. And Trump signed an executive order cancelling student debt for disabled vets last year.

So it's not a crazy question to ask. I wasn't trolling or trying to say their policy positions don't matter.

If tuition costs and interest rates for student loans had not become predatory and so inflated, maybe I would feel differently.

How does this fix that?

Shouldn't we end the collusion/price-fixing at universities who are ultimately gouging the taxpayer (either the student or the taxpayers, globally through whatever aid program, grants, guaranteed/subsidized loans, veteran's benefits and, now, a massive forgiveness program)?

THEN maybe talk about a bailout. I mean, doing the bailout first just enables the scammers (the universities) to continue the scam. What am I missing?

Anything this big would have to get passed through Congress, wouldn't it? No chance that happens.

If you vote for Sanders, you’re voting for this. Don’t dance around saying “it won’t make it through Congress.”
