They’ve shut down elections in other European nations when a populist was set to win so I suspect the answer for multiple reasons is no.

I harken back to the days of old where the greater populace in many countries, tired of the totalitarian methods of their governance, walked into the corridors of power and dragged said totalitarians out of their offices into the streets and beat them....subsequently hanging them from lampposts.
