First of all, your story isn't all that amazing. I've gotten next day appointments and medication the same day right here in the US. Several times.

Second of all, that's one example in one country. It's widely acknowledged that long wait times and difficult access to medication and surgery are common problems with socialized medicine when you look at all of the countries that have it.

Third, people who generalize about something based on one anecdotal experience of their own and declare that a system is "good" based on that sample size of one tend to have small dicks and wear man buns and won't eat Chinese food unless they can do so with chopsticks like they are six year olds at a theme birthday party.

You know. Since we're generalizing and all.
