I don’t see how they can move away from it at this point. They have made that bed with them.

What will be the response of the Republican Party? Will It create policy to target some of the more moderate liberal voters while keeping their conservative base?

Moving forward?

They already have embraced it.

These are the DNC candidates that said they support free healthcare for illegals

If Trump wins, they'll be about six months of whining and then you'll start seeing moderate Dems mount campaigns against progressive members of Congress. They'll move back to candidates like Tim Kaine for President.

Joe thought he was raising his hand because he thought they asked “who wants their leg hair touched?!”

This.
There are so many more things that could be used as examples to prove this.

Yeah, I thought that after 2016.

They're all in on the "far left express", IMHO.

Realistically, how many of those types do they have at the national level?

Lol that won't happen.

They will never stop progressing - ever.

Medicare for all, green new deal, late term abortion, BLM these are the new tenants and foundation. They will not push these issues aside for more moderate takes.

They inch further and further left. And this country (as much as this board won't admit it inches further left lagging behind).

The likes of AOC and her coven are the future. Hell, in time they will be the moderates of the party.

Have you been paying attention. The Dems have already embraced the far left fringe. It is who they are.

Hell republicans are now the radical left liberals from 20 years ago

If they had any sense they would have noticed that identity politics hurt them in 2016.

They seem incapable of learning.

They just keep doubling down.

If they can't even say "Antifa is bad" I don't think its going to change.

The question is what will we do when they get power?

It’s not IF, sooner or later, they’ll lie, cheat, steal, kill their way in.

DJT 45 can only hold off for so long.

I guess that was my fatal flaw. My question assumed they use some logic. I should have known that answer.

Why would they object to the things they embrace. Their "silence" on the matter is the evidence that they embrace all this nonsense.

Every Democrat on the national scene is a radical leftist. There is no turning back

There are some ok Democrats in local areas but once they go national they have to be radical
