In fact his net worth is down about 25% since he became president
In reality, nobody has a clue what his net worth is. if It were what he claims, he would release tax returns.

Lies must be "intentional" deception

Why would he do that? All y'all would do then is say he was being boastful.

NPC says “release tax returns!”

What has Trump lied about that has actual impact in your life?
Good question. Like you said, it’s not one big thing like the keeping your doctor claim from Obama.
However, it does change the political discourse and the level of what is and isn’t acceotable speech and behavior for a president. It may or may not have broader consequences. That’s what I’m trying to gauge.
But if we care about being morally good actors, we’ve got to address this across the board with all politicians. We can’t say it’s ok to do one thing that’s morally bad and dismiss another thing because it’s not as convenient to us.

In reality, his net worth and tax returns are none of anyone’s business but his and the IRS.
What information exactly are you hoping to glean from his tax returns? Just to see how much he’s worth so you can gloat?
Or are you honestly thinking you’re going to see “Secret Payments to Russians for Hacking Server” listed somewhere with the rest of his deductions?

Only for the emotional hordes who feign outrage about obvious political hyperbole because the media sets their hair on fire.
Do you honestly think this is new? Political hyperbole, lying, etc has ALWAYS been a part of the game.
Rational people know to ignore what is said for the cameras/masses, and judge on policy.

being morally good actors
I don’t care if my politicians cuss, exaggerate, or cheat on their wives, as long as they are effective in representing their constituents.
People like you are why John Bel Edwards is the governor of Louisiana

Sure like Biden telling a room full of church goers that conservatives wanted them back in chains.
Just get over your self. All politicians lie about 99% of the time.

His whole persona is the working man’s billionaire. Would it not bother you that the person he purports to be is a total lie?
Not to mention the fact that he’s fricked over thousands of blue collar workers who he refused to compensate for their labor.

I don’t know, that’s what the investigation is about.
How about the fact that trump dismissed the validated claims of all our intelligence agencies that concluded Russian meddling in the elections and Trump backing Putin over his own people?

He doesn’t lie about policy. He has kept his word about those things
The typical politician lies about policy.
So if trump wants to exaggerate(lie) about crowd sizes at the inauguration, then yes I’m fine with that
