I'm aware. Been through all that. You still have to go through family court.

Do you believe in arrest and pre-trial detention? Those actions take away a far more fundamental right long before a person can have the opportunity to exonerate themselves.

It's not a fricking Bill of Needs. We either have those rights, or we don't.

Then it’s a travesty that inmates in Angola State Penitentiary maximum security block to not be able to freely carry high capacity tactical shotguns. Loaded with .00 buckshot, because why not.

Those convicted of domestic violence aren’t allowed to legally buy a gun anyways. Even misdemeanor. If someone wants to file a VPO there is a pretty low threshold. Basically have to be in a relationship with the other party and show the court your ex, or whoever is threatening you. You can’t file a VPO against someone who mean mugs you at the bar or your ex’s new boyfriend. Vast majority are temporary orders.

It’s now becoming clear that you’re the one who needs to be targeted by these limited curtailments. In which region are you located? Directional is fine. I assume midwest but would feel much better if I knew for certain.

You been setting up information kiosks near the border advising illegals that in America they have every right to pack heat? To strap up? To exercise the right to arm themselves to the hilt?

If someone has demonstrated threatening behavior, and in cases of domestic violence where emotional instability may be at play, they really do not need access to a firearm.

I guess they can use a knife, shovel, hammer, rope, automobile, truck, wood chipper, etc. instead.

Now we understand what the goooooooooooooberment fears!

I've been fighting for the preservation of our Second Amendment rights, and a reversal of previous erosion of the same.

I got no problem with that. I love and admire the Second Amendment but do believe there are very narrow, limited circumstances in which the right is not ubiquitous. I don’t think illegally crossing foreigners should be extended the unfettered right, for instance. Do you, just out of curiosity?

Yep, there it is.

Every. Time.

My position is simple. The Second Amendment says that any government infringement on our natural right to keep and bear arms for self-defense is unconstitutional. If someone is here illegally, that's an entirely separate issue.

The SCOTUS says your gun rights can be infringed. Wow!! For instance, a person feels "threatened" because someone legally carrying a gun makes eye contact with them. What happens next is now an unknown!! The door just opened very wide for lawyers to make bank. Lawyers looking after lawyers.
Are you familiar with the facts of this case? He brazenly pointed and then fired a weapon at strangers multiple times.

This guy should never touch another firearm in his life.

Really? Well then where does it say in the Second Amendment or anywhere else in the Constitution that it doesn’t apply to illegal aliens? Looks like you’re carving out an exception of your own fruition. Common sense is what justifies that “exception” for me. Plain ole common sense. What’s your excuse?

Your question indicates confusion.

What's confusing to you?

I’m a pretty forgiving person. I don’t blame you for avoiding the question. I’m not out to make you look foolish.

I'm thinking the question is unnecessary. If you'll indulge me, we'll get to the bottom of it.

Again, where's your confusion?

I’m trying to translate for you here. Confusion definitely doesn’t fit. You’re extremely confused and all mixed up with your words.

Let me put this another way...

You wouldn't be asking that question if you understood the point.

Let's not waste time on irrelevant questions. Let's make sure you understand the point instead...
