It makes sense when you think about it because Esau is a fictive historicized version of a sun god

Laugh it up you idiot.
Samson, Esau, and Elijah were all historicized sun gods.

Delilah, Jacob, and Elisha were all historicized moon gods.

The sun gods were all hairy. Moon gods were all smooth. The sun and moon gods struggled with each other.

Smashed in between two paragraphs of Jacob struggling against Esau, Jacob wrestled with a man and was victorious and released the man so that he could raise up the sun since it was time for the sun to come up. Some scribe scribbled out Esau’s name and wrote in El Shaddai.

Elijah rode up to heaven in a chariot of fire just like the Greek sun god Apollo and Egyptian sun god Ra.

Samson, who god his power from his corona, his crown of golden hair, whose name is a variation of Solomon, a mythic character who allegedly built a temple… where was the main gate of the temple facing? Oh yeah, the rising sun in the east.

Man I am sorry to tell you for as how well you know the text of the Bible, you are downright stupid based on your interpretation of it and your lack of historical context. You are one dumb frick, no offense.

Naah it was perfect timing - take the hype out of the DNC - the ONLY thing I have read about the DNC is the democrats lying about Beyoncé, George Bush and Taylor Swift

I will laugh it up because you say the most absurd things.

Actually, I think it's pretty sad that you accept every story except the truth. Your hatred for Jesus Christ runs deep. I hope you one day willingly bend the knee to Him because you will do it one day, either willingly or by force. Christ is King whether you want to believe it or not.

Aside from a demon possessed character in a movie, I have never seen anyone hate Jesus Christ as much as squirrelbaby.
I think he may be possessed himself. I will pray for him every day.

Those things are absurd from your vantage point because you are an ignorant deluded fool. I’m trying to help you out.

quote:

Actually, I think it's pretty sad that you accept every story except the truth

This is you attempting to project your own faults onto me. Unlike you, I don’t accept stories told to me unless I have justified reasons based on the overwhelming preponderance of evidence.

quote:

Your hatred for Jesus Christ runs deep.

I hate Jesus Christ no more than I hate Thor or Poseidon or Santa.

Let me start with something simple for you. Look at Deuteronomy 17:
quote:

2“If there is found among you, within any of your towns that the LORD your God is giving you, a man or woman who does what is evil in the sight of the LORD your God, in transgressing his covenant, 3and has gone and served other gods and worshiped them, and the sun or the moon or any of the host of heaven, which I have forbidden

Can we at least agree that when this was written, there were Israelites who worshipped what they believed were other gods, including the sun (Strong’s concordance 8121 “shemesh”)?

Let’s check out where Samson was allegedly from in Judges 13:
quote:

2There was a certain man of Zorah, of the tribe of the Danites, whose name was Manoah. And his wife was barren and had no children. 3And the angel of the LORD appeared to the woman and said to her, “Behold, you are barren and have not borne children, but you shall conceive and bear a son. 4Therefore be careful and drink no wine or strong drink, and eat nothing unclean, 5for behold, you shall conceive and bear a son. No razor shall come upon his head, for the child shall be a Nazirite to God from the womb, and he shall begin to save Israel from the hand of the Philistines.”

Samson was from a little town of Zorah, 3 miles from a place called “Beth Shemesh” which means “Temple of the Sun (god)”. Temples are places where worshippers worshipped the host of heaven, in this particular temple it was the sun god named “Shemesh”. Are you still with me???

Akin to the host of Heaven, Samson had superhuman powers. He derived his power from his corona - his golden crown of long hair. When Delilah (moon goddess historicized) cut his “hair” Samson was “blinded” (his corona no longer made light and he couldn’t see in the dark) and lost all his superhuman power. I know you know all this so I’m not going to quote it.

Next let’s take a look at the words.

Biblehub even shows Samson is a derivative of Shemesh. Samson’s name in Hebrew is just their word for the Sun plus two extra characters (Waw and Nun) at the end of the word.

So here are the facts:
- some Israelites worshipped the Sun as a god
- temple for Sun worship was at Beth Shemesh
- Samson was born 3 miles from Beth Shemesh
- Samson’s name derives from their word for the Sun god
- Samson had superhuman powers as if he was a (demi)god akin to Heracles
- Samson had solar imagery such as his corona or crown of hair which gave him his strength which is elsewhere used to describe the Sun.

For more reading:
Beth Shemesh and Samson

Oh, I almost forgot judges 16:3:
quote:

Then Delilah said to Samson, “Until now you have mocked me and told me lies. Tell me how you might be bound.” And he said to her, “If you weave the seven locks of my head with the web and fasten it tight with the pin, then I shall become weak and be like any other man.”

And this photo of the statue of the Greek Sun god Helios at the Louvre museum:

I hope one day you can put two and two together and free yourself from the slavery of religious indoctrination. With your knowledge of the Bible, you would make an excellent atheist once you begin learning the factual history.

ETA:

Mighty coincidental that the night is struggling with sun in this tale. It’s a shame your cognitive dissonance doesn’t let you appreciate this rendition of a more ancient sun god vs moon god myth for what it is.

Another ETA:
Samson burns to death his first Philistine wife and her father, he sets ablaze the ropes and bowstrings that bound him to escape, he set fields of wheat and orchards on fire (the 300 foxes is an obvious myth meant to overwrite the most likely earlier story of Samson setting the field ablaze with his eyes) and his eyes are gouged by the Philistines after his capture. If you’d learn anything about actual history and the mythology of neighboring people groups, you’d know that the Egyptian sun god Ra shot light and fire from his eyes. The reason the Philistines gouged out Samson’s eyes in the fictive historicized account in Judges was so that Samson would stop setting things on fire.

Back in ancient times, the sun god was the sun god. Different peoples called them different names, but they believed Ra was Helios and was Apollo and was Shemesh. This is all verifiable if you’d actually get off your lazy and deluded arse and pick up a history book.

There was some comedy involved too.
Like Bernie being up on stage crying about taxing billionaires, and then they put billionaire no-neck on stage.
Or them crying about sexual predators and then putting Clinton on stage.

Edit- WHO was it that paid to have several of Clinton's rape accusers sit front row at one of Clinton's debates? I can't remeber... was it Trump?

Jesus Christ will judge you for your rejection of Him. Thor, Poseidon, and Santa will not.

And yes, you hate Him. Your rejection of Him is evident of it in itself, but your need to constantly reject His word in the Bible is more confirmation.

You accept all conflicting stories and myths as true over and against the Bible because of your hatred for the truth. You claim it is a preponderance of evidence but in reality you are looking for reasons to justify your sin and autonomy against your creator. You must repent.

When you are exposed to the facts and the logic of my posts, your brain experiences something like this:

Then you reset and post this jibberish.
