That is intellectually dishonest.

Yes.
If people on this board would pay attention, they would have already known Trump will continue to push debt to grow the economy.

bless your heart. Which is it, he is going to destroy all these organizations in order to cut spending, or, he is going to be the biggest spender ever? You guys/girls/it/she/he are in melt down and desperation mode now. Just enjoy the ride and watch govt shrink and hopefully curtail your welfare fraud.

Put all your money on the latter, because that is what is about to happen.

Yes. Growth at all cost.
Skyrocketing debt isn’t growth any more than tripling an addicts daily dose of meth is rehab.

He wants to suspend the debt ceiling so he can shrink the government? I think you're the one who needs the bless your heart here.

Yep with the requisite tax cuts involved, double edged sword though. Everyone loves a tax cut except government who will have to pay out more and more on the debt service because there isn't even a pretext now that anyone truly cares about the debt....which had always been the case

This indicates he's going to be a yuge spender. Maybe not #1, but certainly top 4-5 ever

It’s needs to be raised. Everyone who voted Trump is going to get monthly payments.

I agree.
My position for years is Trump will push as much debt as possible to make the numbers look decent.
Its a sign of a very sick economy.

Exactly. I listened to Kudlow yesterday on Fox Business and he explained why the debt ceiling is meaningless and should be eliminated I’m sure he will be discussing again today for those interested on listening.

They support this (it was in the 2nd CR)

He wants to suspend the debt ceiling so he can shrink the government?
I want to get out of debt. All I need is an increased limit on all my credit cards and a second mortgage and then I can start getting out of debt.

This disproves both assertions in your sentence above.

He added it should be eliminated along with implementing Paygo. That is what was missing from this cr.
PAYGO – short for Pay-As-You-Go – was designed to prevent policymakers from adopting policies that would worsen the deficit. In general, PAYGO requires that any policies projected to increase mandatory spending or reduce revenue be offset with mandatory spending cuts and/or increased revenues.

Cool. Then either roll over, stick your arse in the air and scream “rape me”, or create that pretext.
Stop with the “wull we caint really do nuthin here becuz mandatory spendin”. Start by explaining that we can’t keep doing this. MAKE people care by discussing the issue.
They made you afraid of a virus that was, for 95%, not unlike a bad cold. They can make you fear a REAL threat like 35T in debt, if they’ll bother to talk about it.

The graph of the debt during the time period of each of those bills shows how utterly ineffective they all have been.
What exactly is your point? Do you want another one?

I'm tired of leaders who aren't willing to commit to tackling the difficult task of creating fiscal responsibility.
Create a federal budget, balance the budget, cut the bureaucracy and entitlements.
Through the years, these politicians have been irresponsible, every one of them, Democrat and Republican. They expect us to pay taxes and be fiscally responsible, while they enrich themselves and bankrupt our country.
It is past time for a redo.
