That’s not how this works.

It’s your job to prove it’s all paid by Mexico.

moron. Think real hard about why it would be so much easier to prove the opposite. Yet you can’t. Think reaaaaal hard.

That’s how it works. Moron.

I’m just glad I could educate you on the difference between an import and an export. Probably enough for today. You don’t have the capacity for more. Let TA handle it from here on out.

You’ve been unable to prove your point, but that’s ok. Oh well…

You tried.

Typical liberal projection.

Res ipsa. Look it up and see if you can see how it is applicable.

I’m done teaching you lessons. I’ve now educated you on the difference between export and import…and now I’m teaching you a basic logic concept. That’s all you get today.

I mean. Your google works as good as mine. If you there are none, you’re trying to use ignorance as evidence.

Indeed. As i laid out, it’s an admission that tariffs aren’t working.

There is no question that tariffs were paid. As of now, there is no evidence of American prices increasing or American companies earnings decreasing. They may exist…but neither of us can find that info. Deductive reasoning would lead us to believe what at that point?

If you want something definitive you would need to look at the contracts. So far two Importers have described that the exporters or the country the goods are being exported from are eating the expense. I can’t confirm that…but it certainly tracks. Doesnt it?

Fine by me. No inflation and increased revenue. Even when he fails he wins.

Not at all. Most large manufacturers haven even worked through 1Q25 inventories at this point. Especially given that many pulled forward inventories to avoid tariffs.

That’s not what Res Ipsa is. I tried to teach you. You just can’t wrap your mind around it. We all knew…but I was hopeful.

Again, you made the assertion.

That said, We maintain pricing models for several industries that have import supply chains. Not one, zero, show steady pricing. How can that be?

Deductive reasoning isn’t some logical fallacy.

I meant the tariff is part of the price paid to buy the product. It is essentially part of the sales price in that the buyer can’t take delivery until the bill is paid. That is why the ships from China didn’t pull into US ports when the higher tariffs were on. No one would take delivery and they’d have to eat the product. So the exporter is factoring in the cost of tariffs to their sales price.
