I've said on a couple of ocassions on this board that he plays them like a fiddle and they react stupidly to his schtick. But I probably do blame the market for news more than the news whores. People want to hear/read about reactions to and from Trump, not about news or important facts.

You really don't have any resources to read this gather this information and revel in it? There are no conservative outlets or journalists who are pursuing these issues for you?
All of those issues were well reported.
Your issue is that reporters, who by in large come from the same cultural background as Obama (education, east coast, etc.) treat him differently in press conferences than they do to a guy who is and has always been openly hostile to them.
If the press conference reflect a failure to pursue certain stories, that's a failure of conservative pursuit of the truth. But I don't think either is true. This is the "deplorables" culture battle. I don't think either side wins, but I do hold the media to a higher standard.
