If you could cite when the media covered Trump fairly you’d have a point.

Did you not understand the original request?

quote:

All I want the media to do is report facts, and correct them if they get them wrong the first time.
Ok. What's stopping them?

quote:

Given Trump's tendency to lie and hide facts, I'd expect them to get them wrong now and again.
So It's Trump's fault the media can't find truthful facts?

Good grief.

quote:

That went for every Republican since I've been born. Only Bush, the Reagans, Ford, etc., didn't revel in being an a-hole.
Today's media isn't comparable to anything pre-Obama. You can stop with that silliness. Bush never responded to much of anything--Including Dan Rather's silly completely falsified and fabricated stories of TxANG silliness. And it hurt him badly.

The modern incarnation of our "press" has earned every bit of derision and disrespect it gets. Your mistake is thinking it only comes from Trump.

You can go have a look at surveys of most/least respected professions. In 2012 only 24% of the Atlantic's reader survey though "Journalists" were "Highly respected". Readers Digest found "Journalists" barely above "Psychics" in their survey of "most trusted professions".

There is *zero* honor, character, objectivity, rationality, nor professional standards in "journalism" today. That's not Trump's fault. The leaders in that (former) profession openly abandoned them to ensure Barak Obama got elected.

Your desire to transfer blame is telling.
