Why do agreements like this seem like they always expire during football season?

This is a much bigger problem for YoutubeTV than it is Disney/ESPN.

YoutubeTV has consistently raised their prices and all they offer with value is is local CBS/ABC/CBS channels plus the ESPN and FOX sports channels. Everything else is garbage.

With ESPN recently offering their own direct streaming package that includes ALL of their content for $30 a month, why on earth would anyone stick with YoutubeTV for $70 a month?

YoutubeTV will soon be dead. The final nail in the coffin was ESPN offering a bundle with FOX sports for $40.

Fine by me. Disney/ABC/ESPN is the devil.

God is punishing those evil cretins.

Disney is wanting as many people as possible to drop YoutubeTV, right before Disney merges Hulu into their app. Sorta a one stop shop for all things streaming

As usual, they overplayed their hand

I believe that's probably done in a strategic manner by Disney for ESPN's and ABC's benefit.

Disney is losing shite tons of money right now on their woke programing, streaming service, and insanely woke movies and policies. They're trying to compensate by gouging sports fans .... especially SEC fans who are devoted more than most others.

It was a shortsighted deal struck by Skankey that we're paying for.

I refuse to switchover to a Hulu/ESPN/Disney package that will put even more money into the hands of woke, anti-American trannie pushing libtards.

The Bruce Springsteen biopic is an epic bomb. They'll be lucky to break even on production and promotional costs alone.

They've got to make it up in other places.

I'm no fan of Google, but they are, by far, the lesser of two evils in this case.

And DirectTV and the DISH streaming servives have new contracts looming in the near future.

If Disney gets the rate increase from YouTube TV that they are demanding, monthly subscription costs will skyrocket to nearly $100 per month.
