That would be SOP for GEOTUS.

Do/say something stupid, face backlash, issue “clarification”

He “disavowed” after claiming to not know David Duke. He did it after Helsinki. He did it after Charlottesville.

If the heat gets hot enough, I’m sure he’ll read a “clarification” very carefully scripted by his staff.

Sorry I don’t have one- I saw it live - hopefully some smart people can help us out. And no I cannot paraphrase at this juncture/buzz level.

Trump denounced the KKK and David Duke many times during the 2016 campaign.

I remember him saying he was anti-KKK when he was a boy.

Do you and the left want Trump to denounce something over and over again like Brees.

This Democratic playbook was tried for the 2016 campaign.

Enough already.

Only after he was repeatedly pressed to disavow the endorsement.

This is how low the bar has gotten.

It shouldn’t be controversial to repeatedly denounce white suprematism.

His response made no sense. None at all, just more BS, he's not an intelligent man at all.

It’s doesn’t make sense to you because nothing he ever says will satisfy you. Quit wasting everyone’s time with this nonsense.

After his “on both sides” gaffe, he read a statement including the words egregious, unwavering, and exemplify. It’s almost as if someone forced him to read a prepared statement because his original mouth fart smelled so bad. That ain’t no hoax.

No, immediately following the small snippet you are referring to he paused and said all white supremacists should be condemned and totally.

The fine people ON BOTH SIDES statements was referring to the average everyday Joes who were there in support of the statues. There were good people for and against. And there were people there to cause biolence who were for and against. Sorry to burst your little bubble, kid.

Don't be obtuse. You know very well, the only thing controversial in this instance is to repeatedly accuse someone of supporting white supremacy, when there is not a single shred of evidence that he does, other than the left's constant accusations. Yours is an endless loop, much like the Steele Dossier, and just as worthless.

why is white supremacy continuously treated as though it’s a real thing?
That’s the issue.

The real white problem in this country are the liberal idiots co-opting the black supremacy movement.

Anybody gonna disavow the actual groups causing actual damage in reality?

Trump doesn’t come right out and say it , and that’s really the problem. He needs to call it all bullshite once and for all and expose the lie of “white supremacy” groups.

The Proud Boys???? shite is laughable and proof of how stupid the left is.

Since he’s such a clear communicator, there was no controversy after his initial statement, and he never had to make any sort of follow-up, huh?

It makes me wonder why this was even a topic at the debate! Just anuthr hoax I reckon.

Wait. You think it’s a BAD THING that Trump doesn’t condone the KKK?

Are you out of your mind?

look, your sides inability to halt their own TDS does not make this bullshite a reality.

Here, see if you can manage to read to the bottom of this oversized text before end of the week. The fact the media blew it up into a big deal is on them, not Trump. Its right here clear as day to anyone who took the time to read/listen for themselves instead of being a braindead lemming.

Because they so often line up and march down the street ... for all the world to see.

You can be excused now... and don't let the door hit you on the way out.
