It wasn't officially bought by him yet.

He had a right of first refusal to buy it when he turned 18.

It is probably still evidence in the other case.

Dominick Black was charged with two counts of intentionally giving a dangerous weapon to a person under 18 causing death.

If convicted Black faces up to three years in prison for each of the counts against him.

I get it but at the same time I’m like wtf?? The poor kid is definitely suffering from ptsd and is obviously traumatized by the events. Giving him an AR15 might seem like a great thing but has anyone stopped to consider that perhaps the last thing he needs or wants right now is a rifle to remind him of that night?
