Hahah this is awesome.

quote:

De Blasio attacked the company Sunday for canceling plans to build a second headquarters in Queens last week. "This is an example of an abuse of corporate power," de Blasio told NBC's Chuck Todd on "Meet the Press." "Amazon just took their ball and went home. And what they did was confirm people's worst fears about corporate America." He made similar comments in a New York Times op-ed Saturday.

They aren’t hiding it now folks!

They hate corporations and want the govmement to control them.

It's an example of freedom, so I totally understand why these New York fools can't stand it.

Corporate power.... excess government power doesn't register in their dimension.

What Amazon did was show that businesses will make their money or not continue to do business in the area . All democrats should learn from this but I am sure they will just blame Amazon for their mistakes.

But but but ... Beezos and Amazon is a friend of the socialist movement!

We can only hope that this somehow wakes up Beezos to what the socialists are really all about. And perhaps, maybe, it trickles down to the WaPo and changes some things on that front.

That sounds like hate speech.

Is he implying that Amazon exercising their freedom to make the best decision for Amazon is the abuse of corporate power? In his perfect world the state and the corporation are one and the same.

What a complete idiot this Communist is. He's already flipped on his original comment, and now he's flipped again.

Don, Jr. had it right in El Paso the other night. "The People's Republic of New York."

Although I'm not the biggest fan of Bezos, any time liberals get told to go frick themselves well that's a win in Bamarep's book.

I call for De Blasio to immediately apologize for his capitalophobic comments and actions. As a person of capital, I find his comments abhorrent, hateful, and not welcomed in the US.

LOL. These frickers think that they somehow are entitled to a corporation acting in the state's interest?

Regardless of the state's approach to said corporation?

This is basically like a rapist during date rape complaining that the woman won't stop saying "no" and insists on trying to get away.

Um. Hey Mayor. She(the corp) went on a date with you. Then you tried to abuse her(the corp) so, she said "frick you".

Welcome to life
