Let's not forget we wouldn't have Desantis to support if it weren't for Trump.

Trump has shielded him, allowing him to build up his abilities/strengths

What's stupid is that people think the Trump 24 supporters don't support Desantis. We just prefer the chance at a potential for 12yrs of solid AF/MAGA/KAG leadership. Not like we have a full stable of dependable AFers right now.

Let Trump go in and get stuff fixed like he didn't have time to, and hand over something to Desantis that he doesn't have to waste time with.

We aren't going to be disappointed with Desantis in 24, just that we aren't going to get to see Trump go full scorched earth on DC for 4yrs. Hopefully with Desantis as VP.

It really isn't that hard. Both sides of this argument will happily vote for the other preferred 24 option.

I agree on these points; I think the vaccine is ok for those needing it but mandates and such are all bs. I love all that Trump did and wish he would return to get those things back in place to turn America around from what Dems are doing. But as others said he is rough and those who didn't like him will not like him still and not vote for him unless he changes the optics which I don't think he can or will. So maybe Desantis is the best choice. I don't think Trump would work as any type of lesser office so he either goes from WH or nothing.

DeSantis and Trump have the same political position on the vaccine.

Just as easily in 2028 & 32 as in 2024 & 28. With that said, I’m not advocating one over the other in 2024; I think highly of both, and have mixed feelings about which it should be

Yes he did do this initially as news was coming out ( fake news) that this was a end of the world scenario . He was strongly protecting his states inhabitants as world a strong leader should . It wasn’t long before the that changed with better input of critical thinking. Since then he has been doing exactly as he started doing in the beginning, strongly leading his constituents, as he should be

Let’s not get all high and mighty here. Your own state troopers were doing the same for us Texans

They know. OP is trying to stir shite. They started this crap with the Candis Owens thread.

No political leader is going to completely trash the vaccine.

I think most of us on here have been pretty consistent about being against mandates and not totally against the vaccine. That doesn’t mean I think the vaccine works though. There is probably some benefit to elderly and fat asses.

Trump's sorely needed strength to lead is not related to Health issues; he must hire and trust sub-ordinates for that. In the current 'Swamp' scenario, it is hard to do that; to discern who one can truly trust across the Deep State board. The MSM/Dem Party stands ready to gas/light on a 24-7 basis; the Dem and Republican Deep State actors who are all tied together in relative degrees of monetary corruption, circle the wagons and throw Trump to the wolves.

DeSantis trying to fill Trump's shoes is like the best of political/cultural Talk Show hosts trying to do Rush Limbaugh's work. There is NO WAY they can do as good as Rush. And anybody who buys the Dem Party/MSM spun "toxic figure" narrative, shows their own ignorance in being unable to realize that they have duped by the Dems in order to neutralize their most potent opposition.

Trump is a ruthless fighter and an unapologetic Capitalist. The Dems are ruthless Authoritarian Socialists. It's one of the two. "He that is not with us, is against us".

This said, DeSantis is a quick study and a light in the 'ruthless fighter' dark. We'll see how he holds up when 'evidence' is fabricated, and the 'investigations and impeachments' begin.

Mike Pence would be better than both of them, but too many conservatives aren’t ready for that conversation yet

the question is preference.

lets turn to iowa and new hampshire.

do you vote Trump both?
do you vote Trump in your state even if he finishes 2nd in both iowa and new hampshire?

Shut up

This same post is made at least once per week by one of you weirdos who forgot the past and want to elect another politician to save the day.

I don't necessarily agree with Trump pushing it since it's been pushed to death already, but he IS a politician now.

No, he’s not. If he were then he’d be part of the club, but they still hate him. Also, he isn’t pushing the vaccine, he’s recommending it, which is not the same as mandating. I don’t agree with him that they are effective and the greatest thing ever, but we don’t have to agree on everything.
