Tney would be better off with Charlie Crist or Stacey Abrams according to Trump.

In fairness, he wasn’t smart enough to kiss the ring and put up with the egomaniac for a few years as VP, so he could sit on the throne for 8 years and fix some of this BS.

Not really. Every Trump supporter would vote for Ron.

bullshite. There were some on both sides who wouldn’t vote for the other. There were multiple calling Ron deep state, RINO, establishment, whatever. It’s all in there if you want to look.

I sincerely do not know why you would ask how Ron would do as speaker compared to Johnson.

I have no idea if he’d have the votes to stand up to the dems. Johnson is in a tough spot. Ron would be too.

So you think these people are going to vote for a democrat instead of Ron Desantis - Even if your premise is true?

If you think Trump supporters dislike Desantis that is fine but imagine how they view the Russian Collusion hoaxers and the impeachment trash that permeates the left. It's not even a competition.

Not specifically on topic but Ron just settled the state Disney case where Disney dropped all of the new contracts they made up with the cronies before they got booted.

To be fair, DeSantis/Florida agreed to the prior contracts but - there is a brand new board and they were never really getting rid of the old contracts

There he is. You can lie about living in Florida all you want, but no one believes you'd ever leave California.

Everyone in that speaker seat is going to fund Ukraine. Something about that seat and corruption just go hand in hand and they don't give a flying frick about constituents. You would hope there would be someone to get in that seat with balls but we both know Jim Jordan and all of them would do the same thing.

All the easy money ran out of the mortgage business with the rate hikes. He can't afford it.

FFS. You know what I mean. How could Ron get anything more accomplished as POTUS if Johnson can’t do as speaker?

Do you think Ron could whip Congress into spending less and close the border and not send money to Ukraine?

If so, how?

We know Trump can't or won't do it....he exploded spending, never built the wall and brags about how much money he sent to Ukraine

If I had said something about Ron could do the job Joshnson is struggling with I could understand your question.

The reality is that the speaker, whoever it is, isn’t in a good position. I have no idea if Ron would do better, worse or the same.

It’s that tenuous.

How would Trump do as speaker?

And I have never understood why. I'm not a Florida resident, but I know that Biden and the Democrats are literally our enemy, not DeSantis.

As Speaker? I would assume it be still be a tenuous situation.

It would be for any R in this position.
