Yeah some folks are going way out of their way to oppose something that makes so much sense. How is 12 years not preferable to 8?
We've gotten 12 years of one-party Presidents once in my life, and that was because we had the GOAT, Ronald Reagan. He was reelected with 60% of the popular vote. Trump's best performance, in two tries, was 46.9%. We are not winning three presidential elections in a row - especially if the first one is Trump.

DeSantis and the people he surrounds himself with impress the hell out of me
When Trump becomes #47 he should invite those people to join his administration. Get those people imbedded deep. Then when DeSantis becomes #48, he will have a powerful, experienced administration ready to kick more arse after Trump.

How does a show that ridicules half the country every day continue to stay on one of the big 3 networks? It’s the most toxic group of people I’ve ever watched.
Last time I was in Central park, they were giving free tickets to the show, I saw no takers

Yes, that show is just another NPC echo-chamber personified through has-been hollywood and media wash-ups who are hanging on to what's left of any thread of relevance while corporate media overlords dangle a carrot stick in front of their bloated mugs in exchange for pandering to the mainstream leftist peanut gallery which makes up most of the mass psychosis-induced day-time television-watching automatons.

I'm saying he would appeal more to moderates and independents because he is more disciplined and competent than Trump, and the election would be a referedum on Biden, who is polling horribly among moderates and independents.
Trump can appeal to the moderates and independents, too. He doesn't have to change his message. Just his delivery and cut out the juvenile attacks. Focus on Biden and the democrats without the name-calling and personal attacks. There is plenty of material there. He just has to be smart enough to use it.

True. It has no significant viewership. It is network subsidized propaganda. No marketing executive for an important company would buy TV ad time on that show unless he were just setting fire to cash or the advertising rates are really cheap. There is a lot of stuff on network television that defies the law of supply and demand. And, the “talent” is paid huge sums to ham and mug it up like trained baboons and get ignored. Where is the money coming from for this kind of stuff?

If Trump is the nominee, it once again becomes about Trump, someone who was impeached twice. I know as well you that that was a kangaroo court, but he is going to be perceived as radioactive to the "middle" and suburban white women.
DeSantis is pretty interesting because while he's a little bit more conservative than Trump, and is not shy about advocating for cultural conservatism, he will play better than Trump in the middle.
On that last point, I'm not predicting this, but it's entirely possible the economic situation improves a bit by 2024, with inflation and supply chain issues easing. So, despite his best efforts, Biden may have the wind at his back in terms of the economy. However, the social issues show no signs of slowing down. That is what DeSantis is best at, and far better than Trump.
All of this

This is pure fricking gold.
Has anyone else ever actually thought about how awesome this dude’s job is? Get to work with fine arse Christina Pushaw every day. While crushing the hopes and dreams and souls of snowflake fairy liberals, on top of that…. And making over 100k to boot.
And oh yeah, how’d I almost forgot about the badass benefit package that state employees get, and a bankers schedule, shoot actually the state probably has more paid holidays than banker’s do now…
Attn Florida tax payers:
Let your gov’t elected officials know that I could save y’all a ton of money. Pay me minimum wage and I’d do that job with a smile on my face every day!!
***Did I mention getting to see Christina Pushaw? Lmao

You sound exactly the same from way back in 2016 but insert Ronny D. for Rubio. VERY low energy! Ron will have his day and it will be glorious, but for now "trust the process" and let the prodigal son make his triumphant return during his third act.
