DeSantis Beats Trump In New Conservative Straw Poll

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis beat out former President Trump in another straw poll asking conservatives who they'd like to see at the top of the ticket in 2024.
The poll was taken at the Western Conservative Summit over the weekend, where 1,114 attendees were asked to check off as many candidates as they'd like to see run in 2024 from a list of top potentials.
DeSantis was checked off by 71.0 percent of respondents, Trump by 67.8, and Sen. Ted Cruz in third by 28.7 percent. DeSantis also won the straw poll last year.

Was posted yesterday and it's just as relevant as it wasn't then.
It started 4 years ago when the RINO arm of the GOPe meet to rid themselves of YOU.. the MAGA/America First crowd.
They hate what you stand for and HATE that you threatened their way of life.... Money...
For 2022/23... They made the decision to try and divide the MAGA base and win in the Primaries WHILE KILLING the MAGA movement in doing so.
From that time, the media has been consistent in probing that question.. "WHO?"
DeSantis.
Oh It's not that DeSantis is bad. We all agree with a DeSantis Presidency. It's that the MAGA people put him in office and he actually represents those people in action. Those same MAGA people gave the house and Senate to do it.
So how does it work?
- You get a MSM to start planting seeds of a RIFT between Trump and DeSantis. That will get a small buzz going.
- You keep at it. More stories.
- Then you make up some data.... put it out there. Pay for some polling... etc..
- The stories shift to "deSantis can take him out"
- then you form a Super Pac...
- then MAGA voters chose sides...
- Then starts the EAR Whisperers. "Ron.. They want you.. You need to run. STRIKE Ron! STRIKE WHILE THE IRON IS HOT!
-Meanwhile, the RINOs are organizing behind a "I'm kinda MAGA and "but I'm ULTRA conservative because.."
You following that? Stage is set.
- You will start with a large field and then... it will get dropped fast to where 3 candidates are the main ones.
Those are, Trump, DeSantis and the RINO.
- debates begin and DeSantis and Trump go after each other. Both hard hitters....
States line up to vote...
100% of the vote in Wi is divided... 30% Trump, 33% Desantis. 34% RINO. the rest to minor candidates.
MSM.. "It's proof that the American people reject the MAGA Movement..."

I hate to be debbie downer here… but I dont have hope either one can make any permanent headway.
