The next Republican presidential nominee is going to have to convince me they aren’t a return to the old guard. I’m not easily swayed.

Same. Hell I like a few conservative politicians but that doesn’t mean I want them to be the president. I’d still prefer to pull someone from outside of the political class.

Just came over to the FL panhandle for the weekend from JBE’s fiefdom in La.
When I tell you the mood is night and day in comparison. DeSantis seems to be doing much better job managing through this, taking a pragmatic approach. And that’s in a hospitality dominated area. Would think the non-vacation spots of FL have much more of a sense of normalcy.
I’d like to see him be considered.
