The argument that the judiciary has no place in determining the validity of a congressional subpoena or the scope of executive privilege is absolute insanity.

Yes, that is correct.
The point being that the Supreme Court agrees that he has a case (challenging House subpoena power) worth being decided in the highest court

The whole obstruction of congress thing is fricking nuts. Schiff admitted they simply weren’t patient enough to wait on the courts so they’ll proceed with impeachment.

I edited above but will add again that the point of it going that far is that two branches agree that the conflict should be settled in the Judiciary branch which is contrary to what Dims in Judiciary said.

Yep, he did say that with SCOTUS taking it up that it blew up the obstruction article and that it should be withdrawn

Don't be shocked if it happens. He was on Laura's show last night and was asked about it. He just smirked and said he had the honor of spending the day at the WH and diner with POTUS. You could tell that Trump likely did ask him.

A thread came up the other day about Trump supposedly putting out feelers to hire him for the case.
I would think he would consider it if only because handling an impeachment case is a very rare chance for a constitutional scholar. A real one, not a fake one like Obama.
