i remember a few years ago, michelle malkin was going to speak at a rally at the state capitol. it was overrun by antifa and the denver police just stood there and let it happen. i think she may have been injured. anyway, she spoke poorly of DPD whenever she was on talk radio. i avoid denver as best i can when i go to colorado.

Because literally a million "outdoorsy people" in places like New York, Cleveland, and Milwaukee decided they wanted to "be outdoorsy" and wear patagonia near the mountains and stuff. Maybe buy a Bronco and some trucker hats, go for a few afternoon walks in the foothills.
So they moved to Denver and still think republicans are mean from their days on campus, so they support activist DA's and Obama types.
And thats how you make a nice city into a dump.

I visited Denver earlier this year for the first time in about 8 years. Could not believe how it has changed. The downtown area was filthy and filled with homeless camps and you could not walk down the street without being harassed by panhandlers and beggars. Very sad to see. Friends who lived in the state for well over 20 years recently moved out due to the increasing taxes, regulations, and crime.
