Oh actually I was voting for a party's policies, not for an individual if you want to get technical.

This is exactly it. I know they voted for Trump in 2016 because we talked about it, and I'm assuming they are voting for Biden in 2020 because of social media likes on some of those posts going around in suburban Christian circles talking about how it's more moral to vote for Biden because of character vs. Trump because of policies. ?

I had a long conversation with one of the girls because I noticed she had been posting subtle digs at Trump and Pence following their debates. She was a closet Trump supporter in 2016 and that's how we bonded.

So I sent her a PM asking her what was up with those posts and she basically said she could no longer "find it in her heart" to support a man who attacks everyone in his path.

So I asked her point blank her thoughts on Biden telling a factory worker that he was full of shite. Or calling a female college student a "lying dog faced pony soldier". Or telling a man he was "fat and too old to vote for him". Or asking a pundit if he "smoked crack".

Naturally she was clueless and asked me for proof Biden said all those horrible things. And it's because the media doesn't cover it 24/7 as they do when Trump attacks someone.

Then she moved the goal posts and said Trump mishandled COVID. I brought up all that he did as well and asked her if she thinks Biden would have handled it differently. Then she said he would have at least worn a mask and not criticized people for doing so. So I sent her links showing where Trump did request that people wore masks. Naturally she didn't know about that either.

I fought my arse off debunking her claims, pointing out both Biden and Kamala's wrongdoings over the years but she'd always deflect and defend. There was no bringing her back. She used to say Obama was the worst president in history and yet she's no voting for his VP.

But people like her are exactly who liberals and the media feast on. Create Trunp fatigue through non stop negative reporting. Shame those who support him and convince the weak that they're "bad people". And it works on easy targets like her.

the lincoln project doesn't count. they didn't in 2016 they won't now. all the Bush's live in red States. The rest of the George Conway cucks live in blue states anyway. Graham lives in a red state.

Fun deflection, I’d be mad if those 3 words were synonymous with the base I most identify with as well.

You voted for the policies of today's Democrats and expect everyone to believe you just voted that way for the first time? Sure thing

Then why even mention it in this thread, since the above makes it rather apparent you were never a Republican to begin with and therefore not the subject being discussed?

I know several (mostly women) who bad mouth Trump in their social circles due to his tweets and such, but they will vote for him in private because they know it will be better for them and their families.

So the coverup of the sexual abuse of a minor doesn't bother you?

My Dad is one. His hatred for anything Clinton made him vote Trump in '16, but he is now going to vote Dem for the 1st time.

I like how the whole thread is full of people who disagree with the premise in the OP because they say it's "more acceptable" to say you're voting for Biden

But then you admit you voted for Biden and get shite hurled at you from every direction

Thus kind of proving the possibility of the OP

My parents are pretty open about it. Watched the debate with my dad. First time we’ve ever rooted against each other.

Deservedly.

Biden gropes little girls and covers up the sexual abuse of minors.

You people that vote for him are no better than Hunter or Joe.
