Democrats don't even believe in God.

or the Constitution or the idea of America.

As best I can tell the only things they actually believe strongly in are taxes, abortion, and sodomy.

The lefts thoughts on Faith and Prayers are the last things that I would ever give a shite about. It's like white noise.

I’m sure the shooters mother prayed many times for her son.
How did that work out?

Because prayers are not the equivalent of wishes from a genie, as many like to think of them.

Maybe God expects us to, at least, try to do something about this instead of praying to him every time this happens, which is a lot. So far, we haven't tried anything.

Trump says it's a mental health issue, and just this last spring he signed a bill reversing a law which made it harder for the mentally ill to acquire guns.

Alone, they aren't. Read the Bible. And if you've ever said "you're blessed" or "it was a God thing", you're the most dispicable kind of Christian.

And I say that as a Republican and a Christian.

Ignoring the question of whether prayer has any effect on objective reality, isn’t the thread title almost tautological? If prayers to god were, indeed, enough, the shooting wouldn’t have happened. That’s simply contained within the definition of the word “enough”.

It may have been in poor taste, but the one thing you can’t say about that statement is that it’s factually incorrect.
