Democrats Not Liking the Market - DU Insights

The 42 people who post on DemocraticUnderground give a nice insight into the unfiltered mind of a lib.
Thead Subject: I would feel much better about the market if it was down.
Being up 650 points does not reflect the current status of the economy today and in the near future. The economic data points to a prolonged downward slump in the economy. There is no vaccine. Testing is still problematic. If anything, we're in the same position that we were prior to the shutdown, unprepared.
The markets are out of synch with reality. They're creating and following their own made up narratives.

There are dozens of vaccines currently in development and may be ready by fall.

The fact that we have more testing available than sick people?
And it's not the same as before, it's warming up which will decrease contagiousness of this thing.
So actually the world is a very different place. And I think the United States was ready for this is general.
The CDC screwed everything up, but everything the government did had been good.
So yeah, every reason for the country to be optimistic and that is demonstrated in the markets.
There are dozens of vaccines currently in development and may be ready by fall.

I can’t tell you exactly. It’s deeply disturbing and highly annoying to read, but I guess for the same reason I’m a sucker for cult documentaries.
The biggest thread today is how Joe Rogan (who at least half have never heard of) can be so popular. They either know not of him or think he is evil and hateful and should be banned.
