That’s a bad analogy.
They’re prosecuting Trump for his words. If the prosecutors themselves have repeatedly used those same words without fear of committing a crime, then stands to reason those words are not criminal. And it also shows selective—biased—prosecution. Of course we already know this.

Every other night You Tube has had tons of impeachment clips from NBC, CNN, etc on my news feed. Tonight, absolutely nothing.

Good lord,do you not realize impeachment trials aren't remotely similar to a normal court of law?
90% of the "evidence" presented by the Dems was hearsay,unnamed sources and edited videotapes.NONE would be permitted in a normal court of law.

If this was a strictly legal proceeding, the judge would have granted a motion to dismiss. Trump's goal isn't to win a legal argument, it's to make it too politically risky for Republicans to convict.

They totally meant it just like a dictatorship that lost an election! You know, all those dictators that allowed themselves to be voted out of office and left it for another president acted just like this.
