Wasn't that Al Green who admitted that the impeachment was a tactical maneuver on their part to prevent Trump from reelection?

Demographics aren’t as destined as they think.

Not all minorities vote in lockstep and you are going to have specific minorities (blacks and Latinos, for example) who are at cross purposes and won’t stay on the same side in the long term without a massive change.

Pandering works best in secrecy when you aren’t letting everyone know what each group is being promised. Promising one group something will eventually piss off other groups if they don’t get either the same thing or something of comparable value.

It's news that they are actively trying to alter the governmental structure to achieve this goal under the guise of balance and fair play.

Virginia was also a lot damn bigger than it is today, making it the largest of the original thirteen by area.

That is despite Maine being considered part of Massachusetts too.

I mean, duh.

Getting control of government, or keeping that control, is the first goal of any political party. That is, in fact, their purpose.

Sure. You go out, you kiss hands and shake babies, and you try to win votes. Then, where you are up for reelection again, you do the same thing again.

What you don't do is pass a law fundamentally outlawing one position from ever gaining power. This is essentially the party in power passing a lw to prevent any other party from gaining power. That isn't democracy. It's a faux democracy, basically a single party system.
