IMO it looks like the dem strategy was to delay in order to build up as many “got ‘em this time” releases. Their hope is to push this threw as quick as possible, knowing the longer it goes on, the voters will lose interest.

They are hoping all GAO statement, Guiliani text “bombshell”, Parnus claims, will spike public opinion enough to tilt the 4-5 Rino’s into allowing witnesses and a long drawn out trial.

This would create a circus trial in which they hope the president loses his voting support. They want a trial through the conventions.

And the side effect of a long trial is to help Biden over his senator competitors.

Expect more surprises, just like Kavanough hearings,,,,,

This is nothing but Kavanaugh 2.0. New stuff(bs) coming out daily....it's a coordinated media release to sway public opinion.

I've barely paid attention to any of this and I know this is just more dirty dim bs. I ignore it. They have zero credibility.

You are right, but most of us are sooo sick of strategy and gamesmanship in Washington. What happened to governance?

Getting elected/re-elected takes precedence.

This is about RBG and judges plain and simple .If they can't beat Trump, they wanna take out the Republicans in the Senate. McConnell knows the longer the trial stretches the more they are exposed and hamstrung
