Wouldn't be libel per se. Could be libel. But it would be almost impossible. It will be interesting to hear the attorneys weigh in.

Definitive #Obamagate Timeline (11PM 3/15 Update) by LSUTANGERINE And today the Senate intelligence committee the leaders stated that there are "no indications that Trump Tower was the subject of surveillance by any element either before or after election day ". I thought Trump had the evidence and he was telling the truth. Boy I have had the wool pulled over my eyes by Donald Trump

Why so quiet Josh? Shouldn't this thread be removed due to the fact it's "spam" now?

Why aren't you updating the threaad anymore with the latest evidence? Doesn't work for that Obamagate narrative so i guess it's fake news now too right?

The thread would be more accurate if you made it #TrumpTwitterTantrum because that's the only thing they found evidence of.

President Donald J. Trump tells Fox News host Tucker Carlson he'll provide the Congressional Intelligence Committees with evidence 'very soon'.

Why does that sound a lot like his answer to the Obama Birth Certificate claims?

The WH just apologized for some of its idiocy.

May probably called and explained that without an apology Trump isn't making a UK visit.

If you think this russian stuff is over or going away then your delusional or fricking crazy. Lets just wait till all the congressional investigations are concluded and see what comes out of it?

We're all waiting on you to post the latest update. Why won't you post the last bit of information? This is the "definitive" timeline after all. You just going to keep hiding and hoping something changes?

Trump in regards to wiretappinggate...

R: Are you still claiming Obama tapped your phones?

Trump: Well, I know this guy that knows this guy, that know this guy, that know this guy, that know this guy, that know this guy, who knows this guy's cousin, who said he heard they were spying on me through my microwave. Which is in the same room with a phone.

It's think that doesn't really matter too much to most of the people in this forum whether Trump is a lying sack of shite or not as long as his policies are good for the country

Our political passions and partisanship overwhelm our ability to uncover the truth.

If, as Democrats suggest, the Russian interference was significant and there was evidence of Trump-campaign collusion in it, it would have been irresponsible for the Justice Department and the FBI not to investigate, including by monitoring communications under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA). But if, as Republicans counter, Russian interference was immaterial (some say nonexistent), and there was no real proof of Trump-campaign collusion in anything nefarious, then the “hacking conspiracy” was just a pretext for the incumbent administration to investigate the opposition party’s political campaign, a stunning abuse of power

quote:

The Weekly Standard’s Stephen Hayes has best outlined the legitimate sourcing concerns about the claims, mainly by Heat Street, that the Obama administration sought in June, and ultimately obtained in October, Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrants (i.e., FISA court authorization) to monitor communications of Trump associates. So, let’s set that aside. Here is the New York Times on March 1:

The F.B.I. is conducting a wide-ranging counterintelligence investigation into Russia’s meddling in the election, and is examining alleged links between Mr. Trump’s associates and the Russian government.

quote:

This is the source of the agents’ frustration: After Trump won the election, the Obama administration made efforts to spread investigative information across the intelligence community, outside the tight web of investigators handling the Russia probe. This has encouraged leaking and distorted the public’s understanding of what the investigators were doing — which was properly focused on Russia, not politically focused on Trump

Given the "non denials" being used as proof that something didn't happen and the rush to dismiss any of this.....I thought this might be worth reading.
