I know you think I'm an a-hole, but

The western world is still run almost exclusively by white men. The vast majority of the wealth in America is still owned by white men. White men still constitute by far the largest single voting block. White men as a group own nearly half of all higher education degrees in America.

So if white men have nearly all the power, money, education and political clout why then does this board constantly bitch about white men being oppressed? Because people who can't do shite about it whine about your privilege?

Why not shite the frick up and just enjoy being a white dude?

You do have some degree of privilege in this society as a white guy. So do I, we all do.

As soon as you realize that and then realize you don't have to apologize for it, you'll be much happier. Being privileged and basking in that glow is so much better than denying it.
