Dallas Stars eliminate Pride night for the first time in five years.

Earlier today, the Stars released their promotional calendar for this season. As has been the case in recent seasons, the Stars will host theme nights celebrating teachers, first responders, Hockey Fights Cancer, Black history, Noche Mexicana, and other groups and organizations. There have been some visible changes from prior seasons, however.

Some new additions to this year’s promotional calendar include Star Wars Night, an anime promotion, and an Iron Flame promotion that takes place on the same day as Western Night. There is also a bobblehead giveaway honoring Esa Lindell scheduled for November 15.

Likewise, some previous celebrations are no longer on the calendar. The Stars are reducing their three “Retro Nights” last season down to a single “80’s night” this year. They also won’t be repeating last year’s Pickleball Night, Video Game Night, or Texas Rangers Night.

The most notable omission from this year’s calendar, however, is any equivalent event to last year’s Pride Night, which was held on March 23, 2026.
