No one does. Just like no one should have a problem when I go spend my money somewhere else.

Private company. No problem with this. Don't see how anyone could have a problem with this.

No one is saying that the Government should prevent them from doing it, simply wondering the purpose of doing it in the first place.

Alright... I've had enough. These a-holes think that there has been some huge burgeoning White Supremacist movement in this country. There is not and there was not.

Prior to Charlottesville, the White Suprmacists, KKK and Skin heads were seen as a joke by white people ....even those that might have been a little bigoted themselves. Guess what? They still are. This has been a huge over reaction by the left and the press. The sad part is that a person had to lose her life as the press ginned up a stupid rally over a stupid thing. Yes, if that rally was not SOOOOOO advertised, it would've been over with and largely forgotten.

If the city of Charlottesville was smart they would have made sure that the two sides never met. I hold them just as culpable. This stupidity did not need to happen.

Who cares? It's a private company. They could post pictures of half-naked gay men on facebook and make everyday "gay day."

If it help their bottom line then they'll be in business for a long time. If it hurts them then they won't last. They're doing this because they think it'll help business to virtue signal. We'll find out if they're right based on whether or not they continue this nonsense.

i don't see how this is any different than those bakeries and restaurants that said they wouldn't allow homosexuals to be patrons of their establishments... i can remember many here championing those particular places, saying they can serve whoever they want, they have the right to do that, etc..... why is this, in principle, any different, and why shouldn't they get the same pass?

I wonder if you get 25% off for bringing in a freshly blood stained bike lock used to bash in the skulls of people flying American flags

Of course it's cringeworthy but they think it'll help them otherwise they wouldn't do it. I don't think it'll help but I guess we'll see.

There is no difference. Which is why thebgivernmemt shouldn't force those bakeries to make cakes.

I don't care for any company that doles out political B.S., from either side.

No one is saying the government should step in. Lose the strawman. People are wondering what the point of the sign is considering New Orleans is 70% black and heavily liberal.

It won't help their bottom line. Libs already like the place and would go there regardless. People like me will no longer spend money there. That's a loss.

It's not any different. And Ill say the same thing now as I did then.

Leagally they have the right to do that, but they're a food service company, not a political soapbox, I don't give a frick about their political leanings, I just wanted a hamburger. I don't patronize establishments thy try to jam their stupid opinions down my throat. So I'll take my business elsewhere.

The last thing I want to do is go there and listen to some hipster frickwad talk down to me if I don't acknowledge and support every belief he has. Which I assume is what will happen when businesses put up signs like that. Just like I don't want to go to one of those stupid bakeries and listen to some consecutive shite cry about making penis cakes.

But Cowbell want everyone to know that, so I thought I'd help them by sharing.

New Orleans has quickly become a bastion of leftist bullshite. More Commiefornia license plates in town than ever.

It's a city full of a massive black underclass, a small group of old money, and tons of under employed young people who leave within a few years.

neither am i... i'm just wondering why have a thread on this at all... like i said, when the shite happened on the other side of the coin, there was support given toward the store's right, and i agree with that... its up to the business owner, in the private sector, who and what they want to cater to... so why is it post worthy when it's on this side the coin?

ETA; i saw your reasoning... all i can really say is "oh"

Did they virtue signal like this company? Maybe that's your difference.
