Covid19 related deaths in the US is roughly 186,000.

Anti-smoking ads by ‘truth’ claim 1,200 US citizens die each day from cigarette smoking.
So... x365, 438,000 per year and we sell cigarettes.

Abortion deaths claimed 862,000 in 2017, couldn’t find a more recent count. I’m assuming it is 862k or greater.

Accidental deaths (unintentional injury related) claim 169,936 yearly average in the US.

Heart disease claims 647,457 yearly US average.

Cancer claims 599,108 yearly average in the US.

Black men killed by cops in the US is 8. Although a fact checking source said 13 last year.

I know we don’t listen to the ‘WHO’ anymore, but within the last week they issued a report that said symptomatic carriers do not spread the virus. Wait, what? Why in the frick are we wearing masks other than to virtue signal.

I’m ready for a mask burning mostly peaceful protest.

Just to be clear, that number is for unarmed black persons. Armed is a couple hundred, I believe.

I agree otherwise.

I can't burn what I've never worn.

Stand up for your rights.

Did you mean asymptomatic?

Do you have the link to the WHO stating this?

I got slammed on the msb for saying I haven't seen anything claiming asymptomatic people could transfer the virus. Everyone acted like I must have just woken up from a coma, yet the only relevant article they could produce was from like 6 months ago.

Asymptomatic people can transmit the virus but it's difficult. They aren't coughing and sneezing and don't have the viral load to make it likely in most environments.

So you are saying there's not much evidence of asymptomatic people transmitting the virus.

From what I've read that's correct. And there seems to be some correlation between the viral load you receive and the severity of symptoms.

But testing is so imprecise/ inaccurate i don't think "they" really know when it comes to the asymptomatic and very mild cases.

I've honestly stopped reading so much in the past few weeks so maybe I'm out of date. No longer care, tbh.

According to the Washington Post Police Shooting Database, since 01/01/15, there have been 352 shootings of black men who were not brandishing a gun or a knife. It's only 125 if you select "unarmed" in the filters, but for fairness I'm going to only use "real weapons". Over the course of 5.5 years give or take, that works out to about 64 per year. In cases where police may have overstepped and been too aggressive, I support charging them appropriately. But those numbers don't imply anything about a "systemically racist police force" in America.

Just like Covid, majority of democrats seem to care more about their arbitrary feelings about a subject matter and not objective fact. I'm a centrist, I could get on board with some of the liberal talking points a couple of elections ago, but they've completely jumped the shark now.

Excuse the hijack:

This is what I’ve heard over and over including in MSM. Here’s a link even to a MSM article stating exactly what you quoted. USA Today

So can someone tell me the difference between that and these stats below... just looking to have my facts straight:

It’s funny how last year 13 unarmed folks were killed by police and there was no hooplah over it then this year 2 thugs (look at their criminal records) are killed by the police, whether justified or not, and the leftist media incites violence and then they go and burn down minority communities all across the country in the name of equality. Amazing how easily all these NPCs and NPC athletes are manipulated by the media.

ETA: sorry didn’t read pass OP and see this was just addressed... carry on
