Country's gone. It's over.

Been a good ride folks. Snowball effect about to take place.
Step 1
Media has become completely one-sided working for one political party. They have already made sure if a conservative voices their opinion, they're racist and bigoted to silence opposing ideas.
Complete.
Step 2
Attract younger generations through media and educational systems to spread progressive and socialist ideology.
Complete.
Step 3
Making more and more of the populace desire wealth redistribution policy and maintain or grow dependancy on govt.
Complete.
Step 4
Bring in more socialist ideas and electing or swaying socialist representatives.
Well on their way to completion.
Step 5
Progessive, socialist, anti-conservative employees within FBI and CIA who aren't afraid to show their bias and face no penalty. Only going after opposing political figures while protecting leftists politicians.
Complete
Step 5
Immigration with no limit. Minorities are their bread and butter. Will soon be the largest voting block.
People say the pendulum will swing back. I don't see it happening again.
Some will call this a melt because they can't dispute a single fact I wrote.

The trends certainly are concerning. Had the GOP moved as quickly as Obama did to consolidate power and advance policy there may have been a chance.
Right now, I don't see a solution that involves the ballot box.

But let's start with baby steps. Cancel your satellite tv/cable/Netflix TV service. Use second vote to vet the companies with which you do business.
Baby steps before we take to the streets.
Right now, I don't see a solution that involves the ballot box.
Even in deep red states the public education system and the universities are socialist.
Most of the institutions we cheer for on a Saturday afternoon in the fall are actively trying to destroy western civilization - even those in the SEC.

I agree, the big question is what do those of us who are conservative do about it? I'll be honest, the only thing really keeping me here in the U.S. is family. I'm not married, I don't have any children, not a big friend network. I own a small townhome and that's it.
My parents are in their 70s so most likely they will both be gone in the 15 - 20 years. Hopefully it's longer but being realistic. They probably leaves me in my early 50s. Not old enough to retire but still enough time (hopefully 30 years) to really establish myself in a new country.
Once both my parents pass away I truly do believe I'll leave the U.S. unless the country does a complete 180. I want to start preparing now but the question is where do you go?

I have all NBC & CNN channels blocked, I rarely watch anything on CBS or ABC and I don't listen to NPR. I don't use Twitter , it's the biggest Liberal platform and is far worse than Facebook in my opinion.

I agree. And I am realizing that even if Trump replaces RBG, the left has shown itself to be a violent mod. The justices are still humans with families and extended families. Threats of violence and death will ultimately sway the court to side with these lunatics in due time.

I don't pretend to know how it will play out in the long run but there is no doubt whatsoever that for us citizens who are in middle age and older the country we grew up in and love is gone.

I hope I'm wrong that the checks and balances of a 2 party system will remain, but I don't see it now. It has been that way, but I'm afraid we have teetered too far.

I would not be so negative. I used to think that way, when over 50% are taking more from the system why would they vote to change it, but they do.
Consider Trinidad where I live. Lots of oil and gas money so we are far different than most of the Caribbean. US had 100,000 troops on this island during WW2 to protect the oil going to England. With it came a lot of westernization. Highways, port, airport, schools, hospitals, etc. And that culture stuck in the populace psyche.
This latest govt voted in has been a disaster. They promised bells and whistles to all the right groups, and now their polling is horrible, why. Well because like most socialist believers, I can have everything I have now ....AND THE BELLS AND WHISTLES. Oh the unions got their raises, we got the fetes (parties), we got the extra pensions.
But we could not pay for it all and we had to sell Petrotrin, the largest employer in the country...and the union lost their jobs. All the state run companies that hired their cronies are now losing millions of dollars. The roads are a mess. They squandered a billion dollars on a water treatment plant, after everyone got their kickbacks, it sits half way built and idle, and the country is outlawed from using garden hoses for the next two months. Dozens of schools are in horrible shape, the backlog for operations in our free health care is abysmal. Our police force is horribly corrupt, and our murder rate has now soared to nearly seven times that of the US. At a time when unemployment is soaring, we have been overrun with thousands of illegal Venezuelans and a virtually non existent immigration service to deal with them.
My point is, you dont have to get to Venezuelan levels before someone screams....Who is John Galt.

Step away from the news for a while. Is our process all sorts of crazy right now? Sure but it's still the best of anything that has been tried. So take a break, realize no amount of worrying can affect anything only your vote can. We are not at the end of our existence as a country, but we are nearing a critical point that I think will bring new parties. Most assume politicians are smarter than most Americans, which is most likely not true in most cases. We will get better, we will evolve. Until then take a break enjoy life and enjoy the fact that you can do whatever you want in this country.

This is the toughest battle. It is up to parents to fight back against political ideology being force fed to our youth. Millennials suck, but many are saying our youngest generation is swinging to more of a Classically Liberal type mentality.

I’m a minority in this camp, but I believe the 3 letter organization employees that were “bad actors” will see their day in court. Bennan, Stryzk, McCabe etc.
