My wife and I are pretty much on the same page with our political views. We are both pretty middle of the road with some liberal and some conservative views. We both lean a little right. This leads to boring political discussions since we agree so much.

Buddy of mine is a hardcore R and he's married to a pretty hardcore liberal. They have all kinds of serious issues in their marriage. Not all of their problems are politics of course. They stay married because if their 5 year old son.

Not a damn chance. It would mean I am WORLDS apart and i could never reconcile that. Would drive me insane on a daily basis. I had no idea before i was married how important (for me) it would be to be politically similar.

Of course. There's more important things than someone's political beliefs.

I like arguing (friendly debate of course). One of my best friends is a radical liberal (big free speech advocate so not Leftist), and I love constantly arguing with him. So long as we can separate it from our relationship and I like everything else about her, then sure. An SJW or Trumpkin who never thinks their position through would be unacceptable, but my last girlfriend was a Hillary supporter even though I loathe her.

I have the biggest crush ever on a this girl from one of my favorite TV shows and she's a pretty solid liberal that voted for Hillary and I'm like IDGAF if she wears pink pussy hats, I would date the hell out of her in a heartbeat as she's not only such a stunning woman, her personality is adorable and cute as shite and it can make you fall in love.

If that's the only reason, the marriage is going to end badly for them. Marriages needs love and mutual understanding and trust to survive, they can't survive alone on staying for the kids.

I couldn't do it. Life's too short to introduce political arguments into my marriage.

No.
I was just talking to a former GF today. We dated for a couple of years but things didn't work out but we're still friends.
So out of the blue her conversation drifted into "white privilege". What could have been...

Speaker Paul Ryan is married to a democrat.

Laura Bush is a democrat and she still married Bush 43.

As I said Trumpkin and SJW wouldn’t work, because I am only attracted to people who think their views through. Dumb bimbos on either side no matter how hot they are won’t do it in a relationship. A quick frick, sure, but a relationship or marriage, frick no.
