It's one thing to answer this hypothetically, it's quite another to consider a divorce. If you've gotten to that point, it sounds like there are other issues.

The Mrs. was quite liberal when I met her. An extremely proud Obama voter in 2008. She doesn't buy the SJW crap and for the most part, despises modern feminism.
Then a funny thing happened; we started a business, started a family, bought a house, got a little older and started making better money. Things started to change with her views and I wouldn't call her a Republican now, but she has naturally become pretty damn conservative. It's been an interesting transformation to watch.
Now she gets mad at identity politics and socialist b.s. Thankfully people can change.

I'm pretty Libertarian in my beliefs, and my wife leans a little bit more toward 90s conservatism. We disagree on a few things, but Politics don't play a part in my relationship with her, so I don't give a flying rats arse.
Personality wise we are also polar opposites, being married to someone like yourself would be fricking insufferable and boring - no thank you.

My brother was a rebel flag waiving gun carrying redneck. His wife is probably the most liberal person I've ever met. Like is friends with Meghan Matt kind of liberal. I personally couldn't marry someone like that.

No. My wife is definitely more liberal than me on social issues, but for the most part we agree on fiscal matters, proper governance, guns, the military, etc. on the social matters we get along mostly because even though I’m personally against much of what people choose to do, as long as they are only hurting themselves I couldn’t give a flying frick

Yes. I would only marry a girl with a high IQ. If she is a liberal then she is simply ignorant like all liberals. But after filling the empty void in her brain she would become a conservative very quickly. I've seen it happen.
