I am sure idiots on social media will talk about this.

No politician would be that stupid.

That is like asking if they would let criminals walk free in the street rather than keep them behind bars.

Oh.

Wait.

I really hope it happens. I'd love for 50 million illegals to pour in and swamp the infrastructure of every major metropolis in the country

It could (even if it's a very weak "could"). Economic disruption from a lack of seasonal work typically handled by migrant workers, impacts to species (natural resources) with impeded migratory patterns, impact to local environmental tourism, etc.

OMG butterflies and shite. I'm no longer having conversations with people like you, its fricking pointless.

I would not be surprised if the Dems did tear down the wall once they regain power. They are the party known for wasting money.

I suppose they could but I'm expecting a 2020 electoral bloodbath that will return the Democrat Party to their longtime practice of feigned patriotism and feigned middle class values. I believe the Muslims call that "taqiya"?

Not one of the enumerated reasons the declare a national emergency.

quote:

What is the standard used to measure whether a presidents declaration that a national emergency exists is valid or not?

Presidents sole discretion. He/she must cite which of the 123 enumerated reasons why. The vast majority of those have to do with strengthening the military.

What a dumb thread. It underscores your lack of understanding and empathy for what's going on at our southern border.

Here's to you walking face first into a rape tree.
