No need. Just divert the funding that will be necessary to maintain the wall.

Why would you tear down the wall? That makes zero sense

The emergency for building the wall is to stem the invasion.
So, the emergency for tearing down the wall would be 'because it is hindering the invasion'?

It’s a national emergency for Mexico and the Central American countries. Democrats are more concerned with their well being.

It could (even if it's a very weak "could"). Economic disruption from a lack of seasonal work typically handled by migrant workers, impacts to species (natural resources) with impeded migratory patterns, impact to local environmental tourism, etc.

What is the standard used to measure whether a presidents declaration that a national emergency exists is valid or not?

That's the real question. There doesn't seem to be one -- which is why I asked what mechanism exists to stop the next president from undoing what is built?

Tearing it down wouldn’t be fiscally responsible

Y’all told us you are all about not wasting money. You aren’t a hypocrite are you?

Exactly, any emergency declarations must be in furtherance of a constitutional duty. In this case it is to guard and defend the borders. It's part of the primary reason the Union was formed to begin with. The 13 colonies came together for common defense.

If the national government no longer performs that most basic and primary function, it should be dissolved.

That shtick isn't going over well now, with the "get rid of ICE..Border Patrol are Nazis, etc. Once the wall proves itself to be effective, that shtick will die.

The fact that there would be no way you could claim it was remotely an emergency to tear down a wall. That would be laughed out of the courts.

Your climate change dream is more valid.

If the wall is a manufactured crisis and immoral, why did Dems support it before and why don't they bring legislation to remove existing wall?

Sure, b. A Dem POTUS would view the loss of all those incoming votes as an 'emergency', in that the immoral Capitalist/Racist Republicans are going to put an end to moral-based SJW hegemony. It would be an emergency in their pov.

All becoming subjective, in the eye of the beholder. The consequences won't be (subjective) as we all feel the same pain, but the blame for it will.

so, it would be an emergency because he/she DIDNT expect them to follow the migrant worker laws already in place?

That's not how an emergency works, baw. That's kinda how slavery got started
