Universal health care
Strong law enforcement
Balanced Budgets
All employees receive a living wage
Free college education for all medical, education, and engineering students, and veterans.
Housing for the elderly, disabled, and veterans
Higher taxes on the rich
Sensible tariff rates
Open borders

I was joking on that last one.

I'd love to see you balance that budget!

With tax hikes on the rich and cutting costs elsewhere.

Put the insurance industry out to pasture and rein in big pharma.

Although I’m independent, I’m often accused here of being a Democrat and other things here. So I will bite.
This is a direct copy and paste from a response to someone a couple of months ago here.

I am pro constitution.

I’m a strong supporter of the second amendment. I also support sensible gun control, mainly in the form of strict background checks and waiting periods. might not solve much. But I’m for that.

I am pro “the right to choose“. But only up to about eight weeks or so. Anything after that should be a medical emergency.

I am a big supporter of the right to protest, unless it involves physical violence or property destruction, or puts another person in danger. Yes I support illegal passive protests. But I also support consequences for those. The violent BLM and January 6 protests were reprehensible.

I support inclusion for LGBTQ. But not to the point of teaching it in school. Not to the point of a biological female or biological male participating in the other gender’s sports. Frankly, I don’t care how a person identifies. doesn’t bother me one bit. But I don’t think a biological male or a female should be allowed in another gender’s restroom. I like the idea of a third unisex bathroom. I’m definitely against gender reassignment for minors. Does it matter to me if an adult does that.

I appreciate that some minority groups are at a disadvantage for various reasons. But I’m also against affirmative action and carve outs.

I am a big supporter of one being able to criticize the government as much as they want. With no repercussions whatsoever, other than from others who express their opinion.

I support mail in ballots. I also support voter ID.

I support universal healthcare.

I support freedom of religion. Any religion. Anything related to religion should not be taught in public schools unless it’s in a history class. And in that case, all major religions should be given equal attention.

I support the right to be rude to LEO without repercussions. But I don’t recommend it.

I am pro LEGAL immigration. I support deportation of illegal immigrants. But not those who have started the process to become legal.

This. So much this.

This is not the place for reasoned analysis of a complex issue, because the bulk of posters here do not WANT it. They want a Trumpist pep rally in every thread.

Pep rallies are NOT about looking at the Xs and the Os or about analyzing the relative strengths of the two teams. They are about cheeringn for your team.

There is literally no value in a dem saying anything on this board You could talk about economic policy, and all you would get it "baby killer", "Commie", "Socialist", "Open Borders" etc.

That is not necessarily true but how can you be a part of the organization that is for socialism, for illegal criminals in our country and a plethora of other issues.

But, for purposes of this thread what, specifically is your economic policy? Tax the rich? Handouts for fraudulent Medicaid or social security disability? Raise tax on gas for global warming?

I'll listen

Yea I think I got a hundred or so downvotes when I posted memes of Noem killing dogs...

But doesn't that make it more fun?

That said, the better discussions probably involve some combination of ChineseBandit, SFP, NC_Tiger, Rodger, TigerDoc, Jbird etc...

Those are not democrat liberal points

There is no way to get a balanced budget with your wants

And why am I responsible for all of those? Why do you think you can take my money and give it to someone else? Explain

Big fun.

It is hilarious to walk into a room full of Chargers fans and assert that Joe Montana was a better quarterback than Ryan Leaf. Every reasonable person on the planet understands that this is a true statement, but THAT room will lose its mind in the process of defending Leaf, because of the jersey he wore.

Yea this place is like that no topic (within legality) is forbidden.

It collects a lot of libertarian types, (some of whom are hard core defending Venezuela right now).

SFP has more down votes than anyone on any forum in the world.

Anywhere else he would have been banned long before 450k posts.

But yes you could start any topic you can think of.

Military oversight means some type of audit instead of a blank check as we all know there is alot of waste than can be eliminated. Corps do this to make shareholders and execs happy but painful to some employees.

DOGE imo was too fast and free by grabbing too much data and not knowing what they did/will do with it and didn't find/show enough fraud as expected and no oversight.

Golf for exercise/fun is one thing. Protect POTUS for sure! Saying he wouldn't and then making it a priority and benefiting personally is different.

We live in a centrist country and too far either way only devides us and we must compromise to be great. Like work, sports, family.

The only man in this world that wants you to be better than him is your father. Everyone else wants to beat you down.i wish success to anyone if you try.
