Look up lavender. They did this in the 1950s to 60s.
All gays were rooted out for national security reasons.
There are many ways to blackmail but closet gay or pedophilia is a sure thing.
There is a law on sexual privacy now because of lavender.
I think the answer is those that do the vetting run background checks clearances actually do their jobs. Those that are easy targets...like swallowswell and fang fang...
Or those that are closeted any fetish...
Need not have any high security positions or ever be put on intel committees.
